Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and report significant changes to the nursing team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
- Document patient medical histories, symptoms, and care plans accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide emotional support and health education to patients and their families.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of New Mexico.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (BSN preferred, ADN accepted with experience).
- CPR (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
- Demonstrated compassion and a strong desire to provide excellent patient care.
- Ability to lift and move patients as necessary.
