Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and nursing standards.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Document patient care accurately and promptly in electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide critical care support as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred).
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-paced team environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine passion for patient advocacy and care.
- Ability to perform physical demands of the job, including lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Willingness to be flexible with shift assignments and scheduling.
