Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment & Care: Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, administer medications, and provide direct patient care according to established nursing protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) documenting patient conditions, treatments, and responses.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure holistic patient care.
- Infection Control: Adhere to strict hygiene and infection control standards to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Patient Advocacy: Serve as an advocate for patient needs, ensuring they understand their treatment plans and feel respected.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in the state of Ohio.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (ADN, BSN, or MSN).
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift patients, and perform physical tasks as required.
