Responsibilities
- Assess Patient Needs: Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop individualized care plans.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Regularly monitor and record patient vital signs and report any changes in condition.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient care, symptoms, and treatment responses in electronic health records.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-care instructions.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wisconsin.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with patients, families, and staff.
