Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established medical protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient health progress, respond to emergencies, and report critical changes to charge nurses or physicians.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Provide emotional support and health education to patients and their families to ensure holistic care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the California Board of Nursing.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (BSN preferred for new graduates).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient safety and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
