Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and treating symptoms in accordance with nursing protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient assessments, treatments, responses to care, and patient education accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and positive patient outcomes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff, strictly adhering to infection control standards.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies within the scope of practice.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Florida Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
- Commitment to ethical nursing practices, patient advocacy, and professional development.
- Ability to utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems proficiently.
