Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vitals and conditions continuously, responding immediately to any changes or emergencies.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the multidisciplinary care team.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health management, and discharge planning.
- Adhere to all safety standards and regulatory requirements at all times.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital setting required.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
