Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in acute and specialty settings using evidence-based practices
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and patient safety focus
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient assessments and progress in electronic health records
- Mentor new nurses and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Respond to emergent situations with calm clinical judgment
- Advocate for patients across the continuum of care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact state)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN with 2+ years experience considered
- ACLS/BLS certification required; specialty certifications a plus
- Minimum 2 years acute care or specialty nursing experience
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
