Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with evidence-based practices and hospital protocols
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions using advanced clinical judgment
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and patient safety as the top priority
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and treatment procedures
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and emergency response protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Nevada (or compact license)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years of acute care experience will be considered)
- Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in acute care or specialty unit
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required); TNCC or PALS preferred
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
