Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical setting
- Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare specialists
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records
- Mentor nursing students and new team members
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Adhere to HIPAA and OSHA regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (required)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Experience with Epic EHR system preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
- Commitment to delivering patient-centered care
