Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health conditions
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous learning activities
Qualifications
- Current New York State Registered Nurse license (RN)
- BSN degree from an accredited nursing program (ADN candidates considered with experience)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in a hospital setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required within 30 days of hire)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills with diverse populations
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
