Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and condition, re-evaluating care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the multidisciplinary care team.
- Document all patient care services accurately and timely using EMR systems.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication management, and post-discharge care.
- Respond to emergencies and critical situations with composure and quick action.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
