Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive telehealth assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for diverse patient populations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and resolve complex medical issues
- Accurately document patient encounters using our EHR system while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Delicate patient education on chronic disease management, medication adherence, and preventive care
- Triage urgent cases and coordinate emergency services when necessary
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practice development
- Maintain active state nursing license and complete required continuing education
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in Texas (TX RN license required)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience with telehealth or virtual care preferred
- ACLS/BLS certifications and experience with chronic disease management
- Proficiency in EHR systems and telehealth platforms (e.g., Teladoc, Amwell)
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills in remote settings
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities with cultural sensitivity
- Ability to work independently while maintaining collaborative team dynamics
