Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in medical/surgical units with evidence-based practices
- Administer medications, treatments, and wound care per clinical protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Document patient records accurately using Epic EHR systems
- Mentor nursing students and new staff members
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety audits
Qualifications
- Active MA RN license (or compact license with MA endorsement)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred
- 2+ years acute care experience in medical/surgical nursing
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system
