Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in assigned specialty unit (ICU/ER/Telemetry/Med-Surg)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with 100% accuracy
- Document clinical observations and patient progress in Epic EMR system
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain sterile techniques and infection control protocols
- Provide patient/family education on treatment plans and discharge protocols
- Participate in rapid response codes and emergency interventions
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license (or compact license with quick endorsement)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 3+ years experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (or obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in target specialty unit
- Strong critical thinking skills and clinical judgment abilities
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
