Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Perform thorough patient assessments to identify health problems and formulate individualized nursing care plans.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and licensed nurse practitioners.
- Vital Monitoring: Continuously monitor, record, and report patient symptoms, changes in condition, and reactions to drugs and treatments.
- Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Education: Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, management, and health maintenance.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia required.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care or clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Technology: Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
- Soft Skills: Empathy, attention to detail, and strong critical thinking abilities.
