Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs under the supervision of physicians and charge nurses.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and nursing standards, ensuring patient safety at all times.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive patient care plans and ensure continuity of treatment.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in electronic health records (EHR) to support high-quality care standards.
- Monitor patient vitals and conditions closely, responding immediately to any changes or medical emergencies.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Current, active RN License issued by the State of Colorado.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and medical staff.
