Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough health assessments and develop individualized care plans tailored to patient needs.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Emergency Response: Monitor patient conditions in real-time and respond promptly to emergencies and critical situations.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication side effects, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or California (or compact state).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Compassion: A patient-centered approach with a strong commitment to safety and quality of care.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
