Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and surgical services
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic procedures with precision and compassion
- Document patient assessments and care plans using our advanced electronic health record system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care strategies
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO standards and HIPAA regulations
- Provide mentorship to nursing students and new staff members
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license (or compact license with quick endorsement process)
- BSN degree required, MSN preferred for leadership track
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in hospital setting
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Proficiency in Epic EHR system
- Demonstrated expertise in patient assessment and emergency response
- Strong communication skills with English fluency
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends
