Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with clinical protocols and best practices
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient assessments accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-treatment procedures
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and safety standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Provide emergency response support as needed in acute care settings
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Minimum 1-2 years recent acute care experience
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Electronic Health Records (EHR) proficiency
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
