Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient history, symptoms, and treatment responses accurately in the EHR.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience (preferred for immediate placement).
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
