Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and respond immediately to changes in condition or emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and medical records.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and recovery.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Minnesota.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred, new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
