Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary care teams to develop individualized care plans.
- Provide compassionate patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergencies, prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
Qualifications
- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Indiana.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a high-paced environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and professional ethics.
- Willingness to float to various units based on departmental needs.
