Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals of all ages, adhering to the nursing process (Assessment, Planning, Implementation, Evaluation).
- Monitor patient vitals and medical conditions, immediately reporting any changes or emergencies to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate documentation in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment while strictly adhering to all safety protocols and regulatory standards.
- Assist in triage and emergency response procedures during critical care situations.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the State of Texas.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Eligible for New Grad Nurse status or willing to participate in our RN Trainee program.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient advocacy and quality care.
- Willingness to float to different units based on hospital needs.
