Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vitals and clinical status, promptly reporting any changes to the care team.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure seamless patient transitions.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York.
- Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
