Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and continuously monitor health status.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with established protocols.
- Document patient care activities, observations, and responses to treatment accurately and timely.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop optimal care plans.
- Provide clear education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment and recovery.
- Respond promptly and professionally to medical emergencies and critical changes in patient condition.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Mexico.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred, with night shift experience a plus.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively during night shift hours.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse patient populations.
