Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients across diverse units during overnight hours
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform emergency interventions with precision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards
- Lead patient education and discharge planning initiatives for overnight admissions
- Mentor junior staff and participate in continuous quality improvement projects
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Nebraska (or compact license)
- ACLS/BLS certification required; PALS preferred
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in night shift environments
- Proficiency in EHR systems (experience with Epic preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
