Responsibilities
- Assess patients' health status by collecting, recording, and analyzing medical information and vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patients' conditions and report significant changes or adverse reactions to the healthcare team.
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with hygiene, mobility, and daily living activities.
- Document patient care plans, interventions, and responses in electronic health records (EHR) accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)).
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the state of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients and staff.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment under pressure.
- Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients as necessary.
