Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with hospital policies and nursing standards.
- Monitor patient vitals, symptoms, and responses to treatments, documenting all findings accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and nurse practitioners.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions, medication management, and discharge instructions.
- Assist in emergency situations, maintaining calm and executing protocols effectively.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing School (Associate's, Bachelor's, or Diploma).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
