Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by gathering relevant data, including history, physical, and psychosocial information.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established policies and procedures.
- Monitor patients' conditions continuously and make rapid, informed decisions regarding necessary interventions.
- Document all nursing interventions and patient responses accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, discharge planning, and home care instructions.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of Ohio.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
