Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans tailored to patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with medical protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments, documenting all changes accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and medication management.
- Ensure strict compliance with all hospital policies, safety regulations, and HIPAA guidelines at all times.
- Respond immediately to medical emergencies and provide high-quality critical care interventions.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license issued by the State of Washington.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred, with preference for ICU/ER experience.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to interact with patients and staff.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients as required by clinical duties.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
