Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, promptly reporting any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Provide compassionate education to patients and families regarding their health conditions and discharge instructions.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records in the electronic health record system.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, infection control standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN License in the State of Colorado.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team under pressure.
- Computer proficiency in electronic health record systems (EHR).
