Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established nursing protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in clinical status.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation in accordance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Provide patient and family education regarding disease processes, treatment options, and discharge planning.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Adhere to strict infection control and safety policies to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient advocacy.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends as required.
