Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and provide comprehensive care according to nursing standards.
- Administer medications and treatments while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide emotional support to patients and families.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff training programs.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Previous nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems.
