Your Mission:
As a Registered Nurse, you will be the cornerstone of our patient care delivery. You will assess, diagnose, and implement care plans that improve patient outcomes while ensuring a safe and healing environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status through comprehensive physical examinations and detailed health histories.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in strict collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic procedures in strict adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Monitor patient progress continuously and adjust care plans dynamically to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment options to promote self-care.
- Document all patient care activities, assessments, and interventions accurately and timely in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with patients, families, and staff.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients as required by the role.
