Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, and develop comprehensive care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans according to clinical standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient histories, assessments, and responses to interventions accurately.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and preventive care.
- Respond to medical emergencies with speed and precision.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
