Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems, needs, and recovery progress by performing physical examinations and reviewing medical records.
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or licensed nurse practitioners.
- Monitor and record patient symptoms, changes in condition, and response to treatment.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions and disease management.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care when necessary.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care or med-surg nursing experience preferred.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality of care standards.
