Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population, adhering to the highest standards of nursing practice.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical, psychological, and social evaluations, to develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately, monitoring patient responses and documenting all interventions.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Act as a patient advocate, educating patients and families on disease processes, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR) efficiently to maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, following infection control protocols and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with relevant experience.
- Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required; TNCC or CCRN preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
