Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond immediately to any changes or emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and care plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards (HIPAA, JCAHO, etc.).
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of Nebraska.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications may be required based on unit assignment.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with a focus on teamwork and patient safety.
