Responsibilities
- Provide direct, patient-centered care and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and medication management.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and critical situations.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to safety protocols and infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered RN license in the state of North Carolina (or eligible for Memphis TN hire).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred (New grads welcome with BSN).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
