Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Document patient medical histories, symptoms, and treatment plans accurately and timely.
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions and care instructions.
- Adapt quickly to different clinical environments and unit rotations typical of travel nursing.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing for the state of Colorado.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a relevant specialty (Med-Surg, ICU, Telemetry, ER, etc.).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen as required by the facility.
- Flexibility to travel and work varying shifts, including nights and weekends.
