Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Monitor patient conditions and document vital signs and symptoms accurately.
- Educate patients and their families on post-care instructions and disease management.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide critical care support when needed.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of Kansas.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (Graduates welcome).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Computer proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
