Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical, emotional, and social needs analysis.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Monitor patient vitals and clinical status, responding promptly to any changes or emergencies.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to develop and adjust patient care plans.
- Document patient interactions, care provided, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized clinical environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Current, active, and unencumbered California Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting (New grads with exceptional clinical rotation experience may be considered).
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
