Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assessments in accordance with nursing standards
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient information and progress in Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- Respond to emergency situations with critical thinking and swift action
- Mentor junior staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active NM RN license and BLS certification required
- 2+ years acute care nursing experience preferred
- Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing conditions
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
