Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor vital signs and report any significant changes to the charge nurse or provider.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment, and post-discharge care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and care provided.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kentucky.
- CPR/BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods.
