Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with medical orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Texas Board of Nursing.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred (Med-Surg or ICU background a plus).
- BSN degree preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with experience.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; PALS/ENPC preferred based on unit.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
