Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessments, medication administration, and treatment plans during weekend hours.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, healthcare team members, and patients' families to ensure coordinated care.
  • Monitor patient conditions, interpret vital signs, and respond to changes with appropriate interventions.
  • Document all patient care accurately and comprehensively in the electronic health record system.
  • Educate patients and their families on health management, discharge instructions, and disease prevention.
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
