Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with hospital policies and physician orders
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccines safely and accurately
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records (EHRs)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge instructions
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and rapid response codes
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina (or compact state)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience
- BLS certification; ACLS/PALS preferred
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- EMR/EHR proficiency (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
