Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions in electronic health records
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions and discharge planning
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania RN license (or compact license)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- ACLS/BLS certifications required (PENNY preferred)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience (ER/ICU preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends/holidays
- EMR proficiency (Epic experience a plus)
