Responsibilities
- Monitor patient health status and administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Perform accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment.
- Respond to medical emergencies and critical situations with rapid assessment and intervention.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment by following safety standards and infection control procedures.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
